Men at IBC is committed to helping every man grow in Christ and make an eternal difference. We believe in calling men to a higher standard by shaping their character and grounding their identity in Jesus. We believe men are transformed by the gospel and should work to transform the lives of others. We believe godly men do great things in their lives, family, and work.
The first Man Party of 2019 will be Friday, March 1, in The Commons at IBC. Come in. Relax. Laugh. Take an inventory of your current reality. Identify some areas to shore up. Laugh some more. Go back for thirds.
Join the men of IBC for an evening of great food, and honest conversation as we consider Five Vital Truths That Lead To Freedom. We'll have plenty of grills so bring whatever dead animal you want to cook and prepare it to your satisfaction. We'll provide baked potatoes and all the fixings plus soft drinks and water. Following dinner, we will be led to discuss how the five vital truths intersect and influence our lives and what we want to do about it going forward. We will then break up and head outside to hang out around fire pits for great conversation. Sometime later, we'll fire the grills up again and throw some bratwurst on them for a late night snack along with piping hot chocolate chip cookies.
We’re pretty sure this event will do us some good. We think you’ll benefit as well. We hope you’ll join us. The cost is $15.00.
Join us on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Training Center for First Watch Replay where we tap into the Friday morning First Watch teaching.
Holy Smoke is a monthly gathering of men in their 20’s and 30’s discussing big questions about life, God, marriage, parenting, career, and more. Meetings are 2nd Tuesdays each month, at 9 p.m. in back yards, generally in Coppell. Bring your own cigar and beverage.
